I want to get a large blade, around 14 inches to wear on my thigh when in the field. I like the K-Bars that our military uses or used.

Does anyone know of a high quality but cheap priced (20-30 dollar) k-Bar with Sheat that would be easy to carry this way? Thanks.

A 14" knife that cost $30 is going to be a waste of money. Quality costs.

    OTOH

You might find a used KaBar or Pilot Survival knife in a junk/flea/pawn shop in your price range if you put a little effort into it. Make sure it is made by Camillus or KaBar (PAL or Robeson would be great and if you find a Marbles PM me right away) before putting your money down.
