You will not really see a qualitative difference between the two, to be honest. Benchmade makes both, the materials used are comparable. The Presidio has aluminum handles, the Casbah has FRN handles. The FRN handles will probably feel cheaper, but both aluminum and FRN are perfectly acceptable handle materials. They'll both mar a bit more readily than titanium or steel but are lighter and cheaper than both.

I think the Casbah is the rebranded side-opening auto that Benchmade used to make under the H&K brand.

Honestly Benchmade has gotten a recent reputation for kind of hit-or-miss manufacturing QA, but I've always been more of a Spyderco person, so take that for what it's worth.

The first link shows a weight of 3.4oz., the second almost twice the weight at 6.3. If I was going to pocket carry, I'd prefer the first.

Check out protech first. They are far better than both options you are looking at imo.
