Welcome back! I made one of those last year, the first after my kidney transplant. I just wasn't up to reloading while I was on dialysis, but I did manage to make it to the pistol range with factory ammo now and again. My first reload in years was a 7.5x55 Schmidt-Rubin round and it felt so nice to be able to shoot my rifles. Good luck and best wishes.
 
The first new round in three years is a memorial to your accomplishment. You might want to not shoot it and instead keep it a memento.

Congratulations on the improvement from the physical therapy. Keep going.

If you do end up having to have surgery, then take your recovery slowly - you already know that your reloading bench will still be there and you will still remember how to use it when you're fully recovered and ready to shoot again.
