I'm not a fan of Joe Biden. I also am not happy with the proposals he and others have come up with. But I can guarantee you, he does not think that the massacre of 20 innocent children is a joke. He is not using this terrible tragedy to shove his own personal political agenda down our throats. Like ALL of us, he is only looking to find a solution to these inexplicable horrors. As a politician, he is gonna to do what he thinks the majority of his constituents want. This is how he continued to be a Senator for 36 years and became a favorable running mate for Obama. The joke is thinking that America can go on denying there is a problem and it will go away by itself. While all of us here believe there are already enough gun laws and there are other avenues that should be explored before any other restrictions to the 2nd Amendment are enacted, the only way we have to prevent them, is to convince Biden and other lawmakers that the majority of Americans do too. While Obama may be a Lame Duck, Biden and all of congress is looking to keep some kind of political office. They can't do that without the majority of Americans voting for them. If we are not in the majority, we are screwed, and no amount of ridiculing the VP will matter.

It's typical Obama style, he hands the ball to someone else so he can deny blame when the stuff hits the fan.
It's basically how he does everything, by having deniability.

Ummm, that is exactly what he is doing. Polling has shown a majority of Americans do not favor aspects of what the administration is pushing.

I highly doubt that someone as intelligent and experienced as Mr. Biden believes that much if any of what they are pushing will solve or prevent mass shootings.
