I share the concern that some folks can take that seriously. Seriously.

Especially after the fake MAGA hat attack on Juicy Smollet! (found guilty of a hoax and told the world he's not suicidal) It's crazy how the antis get so triggered by those hats. I would never wear one. My family and friends don't wear them. I'm in Texas and have never even seen a MAGA hat. Funny satire to launch those evil hats from an evil gun.

I've got a bright red "Floor Warden" hat left over from when I retired and a while ago at the peak of the MAGAphobia, I was tempted to wear it and a Hawaiian shirt on my erranding just to fake them out.

Decided I'd better leave my EDC in the car if I did that.

Then decided if I was expecting an "encounter" I'd best not do it at all.

Wisdom prevailed and the hat remains in my closet and I remain out of jail.

Years back I loaded one of My War trophies with it's 20 round magazine and placed it carefully in the closet corner for two whole weeks .
Apparently closets are OK as it never misbehaved once .

I took it camping a few times same results it Never fired itself . I decided to further test it and again loaded a full clip even chambered a round ( Yep still functioned ) So I left it by My front door inside the house . Ups a friend of mine came by ,as did a couple of other customers ,even My Friend the Sheriff stopped by came in had a cold soda and said Hey look at that Where did You get that . I told him ,as I walked over pulled the clip and unchambered the round . He looked at Me and said You expecting trouble , I laughed and told him what I was doing ,he was a little confused so I explained ,That My Guns were well behaved . Didn't go on a shooting spree never shot anyone to My knowledge and stayed right were I put it . He laughed and said just like your German Shepherds WELL TRAINED and obedient .

I don't honestly know , Maybe I just got lucky but MY Guns behave themselves . They most certainly FUNCTION ,that I can GUARANTEE

At the semiannual Daylight Savings Time changes, I go around changing the batteries in the smoke and CO2 alarms.

It's also a convenient time to very sternly remind all my guns to behave themselves and not go off by themselves in shooting sprees. I do this one at a time, to make sure each one is paying individual attention.

Pain in the neck, like the battery changes, but it seems to work.
