Thompson Auto-Ordnance .45 ACP ZG-51 "Pit Bull"

Got this gun around 1996. Never fired. Still have the box. Other than a gun shop, any good reliable web sites where I can find out a fair value. Looking to sell it or trade it in, but have no idea what is a fair price for it. Thompson Auto-Ordnance web site doesn't mention this model of .45, so I am guessing they no longer produce this model.
Thanks

Unfortunately you've a gun form when Auto-Ordnance was hit or miss, mostly miss, before Kahr took them over. Kahr seems to be having troubles overcomming the old reputation.

Its worth what you can get for it, but anyone who's done their 1911 homework will offer very low if they offer at all. Personally I'd need to shoot a pre-Kahr AO before I'd consider buying one, same as a Llama -- if they work they are OK.

Never fired is not necessarily a virture here since basic fuctioning is a potential issue.

Auto Ordnances are running about $275 to $325, I have the govt model, after I replaced the front sight (disapeared first time I shot it), replaced the rear sight (disappeared the second time) polished the slide and frame guides, throated the chamber, replaced the springs, polished the triggger, modified three magazines, and handload FMJ with a slightly longer OAL on top of a warm load of Reddot it shoots great. Accurate too. (Almost forgot, replaced the barrel bushing). I'll trade you an Argentine FM High Power for it. It shoots.
I'm in Huntsville.

I would add between $25 and $50 to the value because the Pitbull is nearly impossible to find. I don't think firing it is really going to make much difference in value though.
