Thompson Machine CHD?

Anyone have any thoughts on the Thompson Machine CHD, specifically for a pistol host.

I've had a chance to use one with a .22LR rifle, and it was very quiet (even with high velocity rounds), but I was wondering if any owners have any nuggets to share about it, specifically with pistols. I just bought this 22/45 with the factory threaded barrel, and it's begging for a can.



The Zephyr XL is another one that I'm considering, but I think with the way my 22/45 is turning out, I may just go with the everything-is-too-big-for-this-gun look.

I have a Zephyr 1.125 prototype and a Poseidon. Love em!

Had I been patient enough to wait for the CHD to come out, I would have one instead of the Zephyr. I love the Zephyr but I too like the overbuilt look. I have received steller customer support and when I have questions I always get fast responses from the owner. I will only buy a can from a different company if Thompson Machine doesn't/can't make it.
