In today’s installment of things I don’t need, but that are cheap and that I possibly want, local shop has one of these in the used counter. Looks new. Nickel or stainless finish; I assume it’s nickel. Looks to be the Glock 19 sized one or thereabouts.

Anyone have one of these. I’ve tried the Bersa Thunder 380 Plus and found it excellent for the price.

Heard good things about that gun in 9mm and 40, but that the mags are dear. What are they asking?

I saw the 9mm version in nickel at a gun show for 350 and was very tempted.

I think I might bite! It's a cool generally well reviewed piece.

I got a taurus nickel pt 92 the forum advised against. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite pistols. I polished it to bright chrome and the adjustable sites are right on. This was before i cleaned it up 1000002865.jpg

Had a Bersa in .45. My particular example had a parts breakage problem. This was about 15 years ago.

Magazines were pricey.

I don’t know… There are a lot of police surplus .40’s out there for about that. 2 years ago, I got a like new Glock 22 gen4, with night sights…for $279.
I find all metal DA/SA pistols a lot more interesting than Glocks. If I wanted something for practical defensive use only, I’d certainly lean toward the G22. But I already have one.

I only ever heard good things about Versa. I am huge fan of .40. I'm also a fan of DA/SA hammer fired guns. I want the Bersa Thunder Pro when they first were released, but they fell off my radar over the years. $300 like new is a good price for what you're getting.
