    Oops. This should have gone in my original thread related to a Savage .303 rifle I posted earlier. My fingers and thumbs must have gotten twisted around my brain.

    My sincere apologies to any one inconvenienced by my stupid error.

    It's understandable. You're forgiven. :)

    I have one in .300 Sav., made in 1936.

    The one rifle I will NEVER part with.
