Sooooo, anyone have an inside scoop on when these will become available? I contacted Ruger directly over a month ago to the sound of:

    Response:
The new SR22 model will have a threaded barrel, but none of these barrels are currently available at this time. Please monitor our web site for information on when these barrels will be released and become available. I am sorry I do not have a projected price for this barrel at this time.

I bought my SR22 with the intent of suppressing it, and after I found out that a threaded option was in the very near future I made the plunge. True enough it'll be awhile before my Form 4 clears on my silencer, but still it'd be nice to know when and how much the barrel will cost.

Just wondering if anyone heard anything different, maybe from SHOT or somewhere else?

I found a place that are making aftermarket threaded barrels for the SR22 here. www.twintechtactical.com
Looks like they are taking orders now for a production run.

Yeah, I too am disappointed in Ruger's ability to deliver these.
