Thunderwear or smartcarry

I don't care for the thunderwear I bought, anyway. It's comfortable, it's hidden, but what good is the gun if you can't get in it unless you're standing up straight and even THAT is slow and awkward. Even a pocket draw is easier while seated. Thunderwear is near impossible seated.

I would NEVER carry safe action in such a rig! It's as safe as carrying in the wasteband of sweats, ask Plaxico about it. I don't care for "safe action" (whadda oxymoron) anyway, but if you're going to carry one of those things and keep your cojones, you'd best use a stiff holster that covers the trigger.

Nope, thunderwear is NOT the rig for "safe actions", not for ME, anyway. But, then, I'll probably never own a Glock for multiple reasons, but safety is one. Sure, keep your finger off the trigger. Think about that. Think about getting into a gun fight. Think about brother Murphy and his law. Now, think about all that and drawing from thunderwear. I ain't even mentioned what could happen if one bumped into something pointy and it poked through that soft cloth to manipulate that trigger.

You guys do what ya want. I'm out on thunderwear AND "safe actions". That's just me. Everyone has an opinion. I know what is best for me.

Rondog, that "beltster" looks rather good. I'm going to google up that one. :D Been thinkin' about getting something for my Ruger P90. I pocket carry except in cooler weather, but I don't much like the Sparks IWB I have for it. I got a JIT belt slide for my 3" K frame and it works rather well under a vest, much more comfy than IWB. I've got a dunlop, too. :D
