So you were able to simply swap out the bottom metal in the OEM stock and that allowed you to use the AICS style magazines?

There was some cutting on the stock required. Nothing complicated, easily a do it at home project. I used long bolts to hold it in the proper place on the stock then outlined it with grease pencil. Then I made small cuts up to my outline and test fit it in the stock until if flush fit.

I used the CDI Precision one.
