tilted barrel-rem870

I hope I'm just seeing things, but it appears that my remington 870 express mag's barrel is tilted to the right (looking down the barrel). If anyone else has any experience with these guns please lmk what you think, for the record, the barrel is a shorter vented rib barrel, and the entire gun is black (not that that has anything to do with it)

When you field strip it, & reassemble, does it shift? How does it shoot?

No, it doesn't shift, it is there solid and docent budge. It dry fires just fine.

I've never noticed this with any of mine. If it prints where it points...don't worry about it, but if it doesn't Remington will make it right for you.

That means nothing - when you fire it at the pattern board, is your POI and POA the same?

Shoot it at the target like a rifle - careful aimed hold - to check the POI of the gun versus POA. Throw it up and shoot to check the POI of you and the gun versus POA.

I got an heck of a deal at wally world once on an 870 that appeared to have a bent barrel. I was just the vent rib was a little off you would only notice when looking down the gun. The bead was in the right place though. Got it at 50% off after convincing him it was easier for me to buy it rather than the store having to send it back.

How does yours shoot?

Like i said, it is a good shooting gun. I have busted clays with it even..
