Time for another "What do you carry" thread

Coming soon: Colt Defender, loaded with Winchester 230gr Ranger-T, carried in a Milt Sparks or Lou Alessi holster (haven't picked one yet)

Usually Springfield Armory Lightweight Micro Compact (bi-tone loaded) in a Kramer IWB #3 ... although occasionally Glock 23 in a Kramer IWB or Galco Concealable ... down to the corner store, S & W 637 Airweight stainless.

Having just moved to another state, it'll be about five more months before I can apply for a local CCW! So for now, I'm unarmed. The good news is that if It All works out, I'll be self-employed and able to set my own dress-code -- no more time spent stuffing my PM9 into a pocket, wrapping it to my ankle, or keeping it in some supposedly well-hidden "tuckable" IWB holster (they never worked for me). I look forward to living with my P7 in my Milt Sparks VMII 24/7, or if I'm out where things get dirty or sweaty, my G36 in a Comptac holster -- which is how I used to carry on weekends. If I have the chance and clothing permits it, I look forward to carrying OWB, and perhaps carrying my 686 snubbie (2.5"). Now that would be fun.

It'll be a whole new world. 152 days and counting....

Because this is a "what do you carry thread" as opposed to a "what do you carry concealed thread" I can see some large equipment makes sense as an options for many. I assume some post the big stuff because they live were they can open carry.

If it was a "what do you carry concealed thread" I would have to ask how you conceal some of the larger models listed.

Believe me (I carry legal and concealed) I haven't been able to get the big heavys hidden to suite me except in cold weather when I can get by with a jacket.

A 357 SP101 stoked with handloaded 158 GDHP's does duty as my always gun.

The particular load I carry runs 1250 in that particular gun. Recoil is stiff, but not crazy. And they will do a ragged 5 shot group you can cover with a nickle @ 10 yards, standing 2 handed hold.
