Tisas or RIA?

Odd, I never notice whats on the side of the slide when lining up the sights. My awesome Springfield Arsenal Ronin Commander .45 I bought last month is under $750 on gunbroker. Put several hundred rounds thru it so far and not one hitch.

In terms of construction, and, frankly, price, there's probably not enough difference to matter.

So, it's really going to come down to which on is in the LGS's case and had the features you want.

So, if the Tisas has a beavertail and a bumped grip safety, and you want those features, it will be better than the RIA without them. And vice versa.

Generally, the differences are just a couple boxes of ammo, perhaps four boxes at most. Right here, right now, is often way better than, in a week or two, too. At least for my 2¢

Turkey is providing cheap good guns and that’s a win win!
Turkey is perpetuating slave labor to get you those cheap guns... Same with Philippine made ones..

Can you survive on a salary of less than 10 bucks a day? We wont even get into how many you are required to assemble for that salary.

Neither.

For a home defense .45ACP in that price range, I’d be looking for a used HK USP45 with 10 round magazines, if that what you are limited to. Add in a GG&G Picatinny rail adapter, and you you are still in for about the same money as the Tisas or RIA, and a have a markedly superior railed pistol for home defense.

I want a USP 45, just to say and feel
like I didn’t miss out

At least immediately pre-pandemic, these could be found used for very good prices. Discussed in another thread, but I was able to pick one up in very good condition (with 3 12-round mags) for $450.
