Ok, I think Memorial weekend will be out due to it being a holiday, however, I, for one, am up for another shoot out....Anyone else with me?

If so, when can you make it?

I am up for a shoot. sundays work best for me, but can do a saturday.

I'll play. Wanna plan for the first or second weekend in June? Saturday or Sunday would be fine with me.

Also, what range? Cheatham County? Hobson Pike? Owl ugh Hollow? Perhaps, due to heat, take over an indoor range somewhere? (Indoor range may limit us to shotguns and pistols only...)

First Weekend in June sounds good to me.

I can do the first weekend in June. Angie will again be out of town though. She'll be temporarily moving back to Illinois in order to pack up stuff at her folks house that she wants to bring down here. Also, the 5th is her granddad's 80th birthday, so she'll be there for that.

The next weekend, I'll be in Illinois finishing up wedding plans and getting the marriage license on the following Monday.

The third weekend, the 19th, will be the wedding day. Sorry y'all didn't get invites, but the guest list is already over 400 names. Not to mention, IL is a gun-unfriendly state, so you'd have to leave your heat at home. The wedding and reception will be quite safe though, the towns' entire PD has been invited, the only ones who won't be there will be the ones on patrol.

The fourth weekend, I'll be getting back from St. Maarten, so I'll be pretty busy unpacking.

So, the first weekend of the month works best for me. BTW, that's also the same weekend of the gun show in case someone needs to go buy ammo or a new toy.

I'll need to hit the gunshow first and pick up some ammo. I shot up darn near everything I had before I moved, that way I wouldn't have to move it.

Do you have any restrictions on the types of ammo you'll allow to be fired thru your rifle? Is Silver Bear cool, or should I budget to pick up some Winchester?

Not to be the bumhug... but the TWRA does not allow class III. Not full-auto, anyway.

That said, I'm still bringing some .223.

Jules and I will really try to make it this time. I have had some strange job stuff going on but it looks like my schedule will once again stabalize and I look forward to a Mafia shoot.

As for TWRA and class III/Stones River allows it all day long and they actually have TWRA officials there. I don't think it will be an issue at Cheatham.

I'm cleared hot for either day. I won't get out of work until probably near 8 am Saturday, though. If we go for Saturday, I'll have to run home and shower prior to heading out. That'll mean a No Earlier Than time of 10am for me on Saturday.

so that everyone knows the posted times of the range are 12:00 pm till dusk. so range time would have to start at 12:00 at the earliest(sp??) but that will give everyone time to goto the gun show.
