Personally I like the character of good honest use. It is also nice to not be so hyper worried about a gun. This is not to say that I don't have some pristine guns. While I prefer blued guns, stainless is practical and a couple live at my house. I am not a fan of nickel plated guns. Too ostentatious for my taste.
