Clean out the back room in the basement sufficient to build a new...

reloading bench.

I scrounged the wood cutting board type top off an old dishwasher. It's large, it's flat, and best of all, it's solid hardwood.

It's going to be the top for my small loading bench until such time that I actually build one the size I want.

If I'm not back from my basement in 6 hours, don't frigging bother me.

I'm reloading.

Been thinking the same thing. Eldest child flew the nest last week, I look at it like I didn't loose a daughter, I gained a larger reloading room!

Those hardwood tops are really nice! Good Find Mike.

They also adapt quite nice to those shipping damaged vanities and cabinets one can pick up really cheap at the Railroad Salvage, homes having remodeling done ( haul it away for you ma'am for "free") and the Various Home centers.

A good sturdy top, drawers and doors...a little 'sweat labor'...one has a nice set-up .

Get the other kids out of the house and you have room for separate storage of components.
But then I won't have anyone to mow the lawn and the other stuff I don't want to do! :D

I got the new Lyman Turret mounted last night.

I have to sit at this bench, instead of standing like I did at the old one.

I resized 50 .45 ACP cases just to see if I had any more reinforcing to do.

The bench is rock solid. I still want to put a stringer across the legs and maybe make a shelf, but I can wait on that.

I actually have room on which to work, which is a freaking miracle.

I think I'm really going to like this Lyman press, too.

The next project is to get some shelf tracking and put up some shelves over top of it.

My Lee press was mounted on an old bookshelf that I had bolted to the wall, and I lost a LOT of storage when I pulled it down.

I'll have to take a couple of pictures. I should have taken some pictures of the old set up, but I didn't think about it.

Sounds good Mike ... how well I remember years ago - ''roughing it'' ...... and always ''making do''. It really is a treat when you can sit and really crank em out.

Mind you, my set up is a tad ''congested'' as you saw but ... it works.
