No dogs are killed, though.
This was to purchase a .22 handgun. No even a concealed carry permit. This is flat out wrong.
Damned glad I do not live in such a political environment, and as a retired CLEO, I honestly have to say that the sort of response he gave is a sad reflection on the profession!
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU!!!
kind of makes me wish i could just disapear
It was entirely unintentional, but oddly appropriate.
And if you believe -any- of that, I have some prime ocean front property in Arizona you might be interested in ...
whats that old line about not suspecting conspiracy when stupidity will fit
Well at least one person did something with the electronic records. And they posed a threat to one gun buyer.
That's two lies in a single sentence courtesy of Mr. MacLeish.
I think y'all must think that such suits are like winning the lottery. Just how much big money is she going to win for a 10 day (versus 3 day) delay?
However, at best it would turn out to be a class action suit and so the turns to this one lady are going to be fairly slim.
An old lady, though, being able to present discrimination based on gender and age...I think she's got a much better shot at it.
This whole article bugs me!!!!! The quote above is only the first of many things that bug me.
The police do not have the right to decide who should or should not own a firearm if the person buying the firearm has no criminal history and meets the other criteria (minimum age, etc).
PA also has a similar "list" maintained by the state police. I suspect many states have lists. They don't call it registration, but it is in fact defacto registration.
I would not be surprised that in Delaware you can't sue the "state". I ran into that in Arkansas with a traffic accident with a state vehicle. If you can sue, I might infact "invest" my life's savings and get the NRA and who ever else would be willing to help to take them to court as far as it goes. There is a very fundamental principle involved. Joe Biden land too.
Boy I would like to ask them
Old Ladies with Guns NEED to come to Southwestern Michigan . . .
Where we will teach them to aim straight and feel confident in their personal protection. A Granny is unlikely to shoot me, since I will happily teach her to defend herself against rapists and thugs. Where is it written within the US Constitution that grannies cannot defend themselves? As a guy, it's difficult to conceive of multiple rape, though even that could occur, but females are the most likely targets of this most vile crime. Preventing this is golden, abiding it is WRONG. Recently St. Joseph, Michigan has be rated as the most desirable place to retire within a national study. We protect our women here, but when seconds count, we teach our women to shoot straight. St. Joseph is the SAFEST place to retire to, but we stand guard and harbor the best police force in the US. cliffy
She should sue for all she can get.
Wonder how many other states keep such records. Suing might make some think twice-but probably not. The great blue cover, as it is called.
Remember, the rules are made for the masses! us self-appointed elite KNOW better than them!!! Praise to ObamaOne....
