Am I really the ONLY contrarian SOB who thinks it would be in everyone's best interest to put a "Vested" or "Lifer" designation after a certain number of posts, and just STOP KEEPING SCORE!!!! :confused:

Say what you want when you want, and enjoy the process of learning and teaching, ranting and furthering RKBA.

You know, Blackhawk is way up there now- he has more posts now than I had in a year at TFL. Others are getting close.

People are posting like crazy here- some are short one word or two posts, others are as long as mine can get.

But you know, I don't see anyone keeping up at a 500-1000 post/month rate for long. Things will taper off a bit and everyone will find a more manageable but steady level.

As for me, you will be hearing more of me a bit later. Right now I'm working two jobs, trying to get in some Torah study, researching and applying to grad schools, and I'm trying to get at least 5 hours of sleep a night so I'm not here as much as I'd like. Once I'm done applying to graduate school and when I'm back to one regular full-time job I'll probably be posting more often.

Some of my posts are short. Some are a paragraph. Some posts are fairly long. I am here having fun and talking. I find the ability to communicate with people I'd probably otherwise never get to meet fantastic.

I am kidding around on this thread but on others I am quite serious. This is sort of like a neighborhood hangout for me. Just a bunch of folks from all over the planet talking about guns and having a great time. I love this place.

It really is not about post count. It is about communicating with a whole group of neat people. It is also about introducing levity into some of our posts. I really have a wonderful time here kidding with some of the folks.

I probably spend more time than I should here but I would rather be here than watching the boob tube.

I also think that I did not post a lot at TFL. When it was closing down I thought about not being able to go some place I enjoyed. Maybe that is why I am posting so much. In any case I am having a wonderful time and I'd like to think I am not harming anyone in any way.


I hope this does not sound like a rant!:D
