I'm wanting a 6.8 AR, and my two go-to brands (Colt and Bravo Co) don't seem to make 6.8 rifles. So, what top tier brand should I be looking at for a 6.8? I would probably prefer a complete rifle, but would take an upper, or even a barrel if need be.

just had one built by d9 firearms in Kansas city, stainless 18" WOA bbl, flat top upper vtac rail, bcg and charge handle i think your looking about 750.00 ish. my bro shot a 1/4" group at 100 yrds w/ it. probably just luck cause I'm sure it isn't that accurate, but never the less it's a machine! way nicer than anything "off the shelf"

Daniel Defense makes some 6.8 SPC barrels (I believe SPC II) and one or two complete uppers. That is definitely top tier. However, Bison and AR15 Performance seem to get universally good reviews.

You can probably pick a few "top tier" out of this list. As said previously, AR Performance and Bison have good reputations. Also, add Noveske and Wilson Combat's offerings. Armalite's 6.8 option is relatively new but has all the right numbers.

*Denotes SAAMI chamber. All others use in improved, modern chamber (think .223 v/s 5.56)

LWRC has been all over 6.8 since it came out. They make awesome rifles. I have an LWRC M6A2 in 6.8

I like Bison. They have some really great products. Unfortunately I had to sell my Bison rig to another member of this forum, but if I ever went back to 6.8 it would be them first and then AR Performance. Both are great groups to work with.
