I dug my 2nd uniflow out of storage today, and of course it was rusty. So I got out the evaporust and decided to take it apart. The bushing was stuck, and when I used a wrench to take it apart, the threads tore off the bushing. The drum looks to be intact.

It's an older uniflow. If I call rcbs, do you think they would have that bushing?

They may just send you a new one. RCBS has been very good to me. Include pictures in your email.

That's "thread galling" from having both parts of the same material too clean. RCBS will most likely replace both parts. Next time add a dab of Sizing Lube to the threads before assembly.

I'm going to bet they will. I just got a part I needed for mine and they sent it to me no charge. I also bought the small drum I needed at the same time. Very responsive in all communication...

They do have great customer service. Way back before the internet I bought an auto 4x4 brand new, when I opened the box it was missing several parts, snail mailed them a list and recieved them in 2 weeks.

Most recently, a couple stuck cases, broken die parts and the large Allen screw that holds my shell plate. All replaced in a timely manner.

I called yesterday and spoke to a guy, he asked for a picture. I promptly sent it and heard nothing back. I called back today, spoke to an older guy, and he tapped a few keys and said he was sending my part out. and was throwing in the missing mounting bracket/plate the first guy said was unobtainable. so yay.

Also, apparently RCBS is making the weaver scope rings these days. And any broken weaver scope will be replaced with a bushnell.
