    Hi guys,

I've been bitten by the revolver bug and I'm looking to trade my SR9c in. I was wondering what a fair trade price is on it. It is in good condition say 95% and comes with a horsehide Supertuck. I had it for trade on here but to no avail. I think I might take it to a local gun shop with some decent revolver prices. Any ideas?

You figure the gun is worth $400 and the holster another $50 so I'm guessing someone would be willing to pay $300-325. If I was in the market for the gun or a 9mm I'd be willing to pay that amount. You probably get a better deal if you can find someone with an equal value revolver willing to trade.

You have to remember that a gunshop isn't going to pay more for a used one than they are for a new one. Probably in the $225 to $250 range for a trade in.

+1 ^^ I was looking to trade my glock 19 and the local gun store would only give me 250. I kept it because I figure I could sell it FTF for around 350. It's like new. I paid 479 for it new. Of course ymmv - how ya doin?

Thanx for all the replies. So is it fair to assume that a even swap for a used LCR w/ Big dot?

Fair? Yes, but I doubt a LGS would do it straight up though. They'll probably want $50 and your SR9c.
