Treestand snacks, whats your go to?

One thing I never outgrew from my youth is Pop Tarts. I buy a box for early morning at work or hunting season.
However. They dont fare too well in a pack or pocket.
Small Stanley coffee thermos and a zip lock bag of in-the-shell salted peanuts.

Pop Tarts and peanut butter sandwiches are my go to snack for carbs while I'm out hunting or riding the motorcycle and various sorts of jerky for protein. But I have found that for the pop tarts if you put them in a ziploc in you binocular case that they do keep together fairly well as long as you aren't rushing to put the binos back.

No snacks for me. I have been fooling with opening a snack and had deer walk by so fast that I couldn't respond. I used to take 2 frozen Milky Ways in the smaller size like they have for Halloween but quit that after flubbing a nice buck.
The candy bars were frozen because they would thaw out in my breast pocket and not be mushy and runny like the bars would be if not frozen.

I can get meat stick/cheese stick combos

I eat a lot of these throughout the year. I keep some in my truck as "urgent" rations - not necessarily "emergency rations," same with my PRS and ELR match packs, coaching backpacks, etc.

After my son was born, my snacking game really has hit its stride. I used trail mix and the slim jim + cheese stick combos for years, but now we might bring pop tarts, pre-packed PB&J's, goldfish crackers, yogurt covered craisins, etc etc.

Of course, this is single day stand/blind hunting, or lunch breaks when still hunting, not relevant for up-mountain camp hunting.

A game warden friend once told that he could find his way to most hunters stands by following the trail of discarded snickers wrappers and empty Mountain Dew bottles left between the road and their stand. Based on my experiences that is probably pretty accurate.

Before the energy drinks like Red Bull and Monster, Mountain Dew had the most caffeine and was a pretty popular "stay awake on stand drink". And prior to the popularity of protein bars Snickers were actually a pretty good choice for protein and quick energy.

I carry water to drink and occasionally some of the flavored powder you can add to it. I used to buy a bag of the mini Snickers that show up around Halloween every year. I never wanted to eat a full bar and those small ones were good for about 2 bites.

I rarely snack because I'm hungry, but I find that in cold weather eating just a few bites of something will jumpstart my metabolism and warm me up.

Ok, this will probably seem weird, but of all the snacks I’ve tried, I prefer fruitcake. Quiet, compact, a little goes a long way, and won’t leave you dying of thirst.
Also, small flat whiskey flask filled with water or tea (just a bit in case mouth gets dry).

I don't hunt in a stand, but I hunt from the ground, tucked in an out of the way spot. I always like to bring a snack or two with me. Pecans and cheese for a quick snack, a sandwich if I'm going to be out there a while. I always bring hard candy - something to work on without a bunch of smacking. I often bring coffee, though as strong as I make my coffee, the deer could smell it over the holler.

I never snacked on a tree stand, I assumed they were too hard to chew.

I packed a small pot and made tea, knor soup and crackers. A little fire and hot food felt good. On the traplines beaver jerky to snack on.
Shot a buck standing sniffing the sterno stew cooking my brother was up to across the field. Years ago. Elevated shacks have made the most memories and the best naps. Covered and walled entry landings for getting rid of those many cups of coffee.
We don't hunt deer. Just camp out till they walk buy.

Your favorite tells me you are from the South.
Up North you will loose a tooth trying to eat snickers which I also like, but my Go To is Butterfinger, at minus 20deg F they are just fine.
Of course a Hershey bar is great anywhere especially in a fresh brewed cup of coffee in the stand!

.......not even close. West Central Wisconsin. I too have hunted many a time in below zero temps. At 70, I still have all but one of my teeth(except for Wisdom teeth), and that one was pulled when I was 15. My wife loves to put Snickers in the Fridge. Back when I took cross country trips on the bike, RedBull and Snickers was a common gas station lunch for me.

I use a plastic peanut jar in my treestand . I tie it to a rope and pull it up when I need it .

I hate litterbugs . Just last week someone dumped to heavy kitchen trash bags on my property . By the time that I got over there to pick them up something had busted one bag wide open . I had to pickup all that stinking trash . I did find a bill with a name and address in it . The sad part is they live just down the road about a 1/4 mile . I road by the house and the yard is full of junk cars and no grass , kind of trashy looking place . I thought about calling the sheriff , or going there myself and have a talk with them , or just dumping it back in front of their house . I don’t want to start a dumping trash war and I have to much road frontage to place cameras and be lucky enough to get a picture of them . The bad part is the dump is only about 2 miles away and it’s free and no lines .
