I'm an owner of 4 Glocks (17,19,23 and 21) I really like the trigger on the Glocks. I like the reset so close in nthe trigger for the next shot. I like the way you can get fast shots off without having to bring the trigger back out very far.

My question is I'm thinking of buying a XD45. Is the trigger as good as the Glocks with regard to my above requirements? I tried one at the store but really couldn't tell.

I read many XD fans say the triggers better than Glock. Why?

Thanks

It is nice to have somthing offical. :uhoh:

I've owned a G17, 19, 20, 30, 31 and a 35. I've also owned an XD9 and an XD40. I much prefer the Glock trigger. I like the shorter travel and the shorter reset. The XDs are good guns but they just didn't do it for me. A lot of this is based on subjective feel, of course. Somehow, the XD didn't feel as "right" as the Glock does. Like the other guys said, you should try it for yourself. Preferably compare both during a range trip.

In my opinion, NO. The reset is loose on the XD compared to the Glock.

My G20 sets better and faster than my sons XD-9. That's my only complaint about the XD.

All of my firearms have been described as having awful triggers, on the internet...:neener:

I like the trigger on my XD, I squeeze it and it goes bang.
