I installed a Cylinder & Slide 4# Drop-in Trigger Kit in my Springfield TRP and now I'm having a problem I've never seen before.

Usually the trigger is a very nice, crisp 4# pull while I'm shooting but sometimes the pull gets very, very heavy, maybe as much as 10+ lbs. Sometimes the sear won't even release at all. When this happens I can thumb back the hammer enough to get it off the sear and than the trigger will release the hammer. I am not able to replicate this when I cycle the slide by hand, it only seems to happen when I'm shooting. It'll happen about once every 10 shots.

I did all the safety checks for the sear/safety and sear/grip safety engagement after I installed the trigger kit and it passed fine, no clicks from the sear at all, the safety and grip safety work just like they're supposed to. The only things I changed were the hammer, sear, disconnector and sear spring. Everything else is original. took it apart and looked at everyhting. There was no dirt or debris anyhwere near any of the fire-control parts. Looked at the action of the trigger/disconnector/sear with the hammer and grip safety off. Looks like everything is moving/working just fine.

Can anybody point me in the right direction here? Is the disconnector not resetting correctly each time? Is the tension on the sear spring or disconnector spting too light?

Edit - I already tried backing off 1/4 turn on the trigger overtravel screw and it didn't help.
