Okay gang, I took the plunge on a Trijicon ACOG as it seems to have a reticle that works well with my eye stigmata. Having said that, I completely didn't pay attention when ordering from Optics Planet and I wound up with a TA31 USMC RCO...for an A4 (20" barrel 1:7 twist) and was planning to use this on an LWRCI M6A2 with a 16.1" barrel. How off will the reticle which is calibrated for the 20" barrel be for my 16" carbine? Is it worth the hassle and delay of returning and exchanging, or will the reticle be GTG out to and including at 100 yards? Any help from the ACOG savvy will be appreciated.

If you're not using the BDC hash marks in the reticle you'll be totally fine. Just zero the tip of the chevron as your PoI and you're good to go. The has marks are for longer distances, so if you're only going out to 100yds, they are a non-issue.

If you plan on taking advantage of it's features beyond a basic 100 meters and in, you'll be best served swapping it for the other or, build another AR fully compatible with the ACOG. :)
