Trimming IMI 223-Harder than normal

I just trimmed about 300 IMI 223. Israeli military. I used the Wilson "lathe trimmer" and their Titanium head to trim the mouth. The head has trimmed maybe 500 cases.. It seemed to me that the IMI cases were very tough to trim.

Anybody found that this is the case. If it is not the brass toughness then the trimmer head died very young.

Any other experiences?

Not surprised that you discovered IMI brass to be harder. I have found the same thing with some IMI lots. It is also the .223 best brass I've ever used, I wish they offered it in more calibers.
