Trip to Bud's

Well, here I am in Cincinnati on a 2 week business trip. Only about 80 miles from Lexington. Since I have the weekend off, I thought I'd visit Bud's Gun Shop, but their web site says they're closed on weekends. Dad gummit!

Guess I'll finish up for the week about noon tomorrow (Friday) and head down there. Can't take more than 90 minutes to get there I wouldn't think.
 
I may not have to remind you but you cant buy a handgun on sight,gotta have it sent to your out of state FFL.
I forget those things as i too plan on making a pilgrimage too Buds one day soon.I was in WV a month or 2 back and saw a S&W Chiefs special,and luckily it was a .40 and not a .45 or 9mm as i would have had to figure out how to buy it.
 
Bud's Police Supply in Lexington is closed on weekends. Buds Gun Shop in Paris is open on Saturday's. Bud no longer owns the gunshop in Paris. Same name, different owner.
 
Ditto KYLarry, I still prefer to shop at the Paris location. or Evan's, or Classic arms, or Antique and Modern, or...The Bluegrass has some of the best gunshops anywhere, most are open on Sat.
 
I have bought a number of things at Antique & Modern. Used to always look forward to the store visit. Would see them at gunshows. They handled a number of my transfers back when I was a KY resident. Used to love going to the big Louisville KY shows until I moved to TN and now it's more of a pain to buy handguns there.
