Nice find. I applaud you for shooting that beautiful work of art. I read somewhere that only 18,000 were manufactured. If that fact is correct you are a very lucky man. Thanks for sharing and enjoy shooting it and just holding it. I’ve never seen one in person probably never will.

Have to love the intrepid Smith & Wesson man; he shoots his guns.
A 1911 collector would be cringing at the risk of cracking the slide, a Colt revolver expert would say you would wear it out to use it.
Smiths just carry on.

I had one of those back in the 50's when I worked as a deputy where you had to supply your own gun. Sold it when I left for more than I paid - what a mistake.
