TriStar Upland Hunter and Hatsan Escort Optima D12 O/U's

I would appreciate hearing any first hand reviews from anyone who has one, it's reliability, how it is holding up, the good and the not so good. Thanks.

Elsewhere, these get very poor reviews. Like if you shoot less than a box per year, you might be okay. Those reviews cite a regular litany of objections.

I have a friend that has the TriStar in 20 gauge. He shot skeet weekly with it all summer. He regularly had a problem with the safety going on after the first shot. I know he had it with a gunsmith twice just this past summer.

Unfortunately, you pretty much get what you pay for with over/under shotguns.
