Just got one for Christmas from the Mrs. and I have really been impressed so far. Well balanced and it works great for a camping/utility knife.

Anywho, I was wondering if there were any other fans of throwing (knives, tomahawks, etc.) out there. I'm really getting a kick out of it and you can't beat the price of admission.

It appears I'm the only one in the entire internet that enjoys throwing knives and tomahawks.

I enjoy throwing! Not very good at it and actually was looking to order the SOG fusion set of 3. The true flght looks nice - I have been turned off to cold steel by some people here because of the owner and company in general (allegedly they steal ideas and don't give credit). You can't beat a present though!

I tried throwing tomahawks at a renaissance faire by me this past year and nailed 1/10, it was fun though and I would love to try again.

My buddy was showing off his SOG Tomahawk a few days ago (not sure what model). He was in the zone with his, and it gave me the itch pretty bad.

I think they make 2 or 3 different tomahawks. I would personally get their fasthawk. If I get the fusion throwers I'll let you know what I think.

Sorry Mitch... weekends aren't really busy internet times for me...

I love the idea of it, i just don't have any. Maybe I need to make myself a couple of throwers... :)

i've got a gil hibben thrower stuffed away in the garage somewhere. can't throw it for crap unfortunately. it'll stick about 1 in 20 times. but that's more due to my lack of skill than it's balance. it's dead even.

I did it a long time ago and really enjoyed it. Then I learned about actual throwing knives, and sks bayonets for throwing, and I wanted to get some and start back up, just never did. Other things came first.
