I am sure this has been discussed on here before, but I am going to ask it again. I have a holster that I can CC, if my shirt is untucked. With my job I have to meetings where I need to be more professional and tuck my shirt in, which forces me to leave my gun in the truck. I am hoping that those of you have this issue can chime in and help me to resolve this issue.

Crossbreed SuperTuck and get the Horse hide, it's well worth the extra $15. I have a couple with cowhide and they are good but the horse hide is much nicer and no "break in" time.

I know a guy who wears a polo shirt and slacks at his job. They have a no guns corporate policy. He's retired LE and very uncomfortable not being armed. He usually carried a 9mm IWB, but that didn't work because his shirt had to be tucked in at work. Finally had to tryout a belly band style holster, got one from http://alphaholster.com/t/belly-band-holsters .......only cost $20, nothing fancy about it, but works great. He comfortably carries a S&W M6906 or 3913 9mm in it on a regular basis. Won't win a quick draw contest with it, but reasonably accessible with a bit of practice. Might be worth a try for only $20.

I have used a Crossbreed Supertuck and a Theis, both in horsehide, both tuckable. Yes, you can tuck your shirt in over your pistol.

To me, though, the clips on a tuckable IWB holster are as much of a tell as printing, maybe more so in an NPE. I just wear my polos untucked.

Yeah, you'll still see the clips, you may get some curious folks ask questions. This wouldn't be the route to go if his job said no guns, but he made it sound like he just needed to tuck his shirt in to look more professional.

Belly band style holster. Tuck right over it. No clips. Try an inexpensive one first, see if it might work for you.

I have used an Old Faithful IWB tucked in with a full sized 1911, and it works great. They offer 'J' clips and 'C' clips which I haven't used myself but would make the clips less conspicuous. I just get a shirt that is big thru the body and make sure it blouses out to look natural.

I also use the Crossbread supertuck for my G43. Minus the clips, it is very concealed and easy to carry.

ComfortTac belly band that I ordered off Amazon, or thunderwear. I don't like having visible clips on my belt.

The guns I have now are full-sized. My job does allow me to carry, and sometimes I wear a polo, but most of the time I wear a button-up shirts that I feel should be tucked in for more professionalism. The belly bands are a good idea, I just worry that they will make me sweat a lot. I would look into other clips to hide it just a bit more, right now I am more concerned with being able to carry and it not be like I have a neon sign on my side.

I always thought a belly band would be hot and uncomfortable too, until circumstances dictated I experiment with wearing one. For $20 (which includes shipping) this might be worth a try. http://alphaholster.com/t/belly-band-holsters I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort, packing a medium sized 9mm pistol. If you are in a climate controlled office environment and not out digging ditches in the sun, it should be fine. I've not tried it with my Beretta 92F or Colt Gov't Model .45 yet (they are not my usual EDC guns) but I think they'd fit fine, and even those large guns would likely conceal well on average size or larger individuals with all but the most tightly fitted button shirts.

Do you want a leather, kydex, or hybrid leather/kydex holster? There are options in all three. Also, what gun are you carrying? Many manufacturers make tuckable holsters, but some only make them for certain guns (e.g. Glock).

The tuckability really has to do with the belt clip/loop attachment to the holster. If it attaches low on the holster, you can tuck your shirt behind the clip/loop post between the holster and the post. If it attaches high on the holster, you can't.
