Tucker Carlson- this transcript may drive some of you over the edge

Ok. We need to be emailing and calling this guy and commending him. I don't know if anyone else just saw his last segment but he just lambasted two hard core antigun morons. Goon #1 tied the 2nd to hunting and said we have a national gaurd and army......As the guy is rambling, Tucker says, "YEAH THEY WERE A BIG HELP ON MONDAY" Tucker is absolutely championing ccw I think we have to be supporting this, esp from a talking head on a liberal network, he can reach so many people that don't care on the issue...Goon #2 by the way was crying that ccw take fistfights to gunfights and Tucker says, "NAME ONE INSTANCE OF IT"

Please support the guy with an email at the least and someone please youtube that segment!

I've been emailing support messages to many people that deserve them. It's a very good thing to do.

But I'm not familiar with everyone on every media source, and I don't have time to google every item worthy of support and viewing.

A link or 2 would be very helpful. :D

I'll post tonight's transcript if someone doesn't beat me to it, it will make you sick when you read or see the arguments of the antigunners

I have never heard of this guy before but he has my respect simply for forcing them to back up their statements of supposed fact

Tucker used to be on later in the night and I watched his show every time I could. Bummed me out when they put him on prime time.

Is this the same Tucker Carlson that was on that "Hardball" or "Hardfire" or whatever it was on one of the networks where they debated? The goon with the bow tie who always argued the leftist side of arguments?

If so, I'm impressed! I wonder if he's become 'libertarian'?

I always considered him to be pretty conservative. Maybe not extreme right wing but diffently on the right. The name of the show was Crossfire.

Tucker was always "from the right", on Crossfire. He doesn't wear the bow tie any more. Never did understand the bow tie. It made him look like a dwebe.

Bottom line is he slammed McCarthy...HARD. He handed us a soundbite that can be used against her forever. He gets a big brownie point for that!

Tucker keeps mentioning being "mostly libertarian' but basically just has a sensitive BS meter, no matter who is talking. I like him a lot, but found a cheap shot element in the barrel shroud question, as if that one point invalidated McCarthy's entire proposition. Tucker had a good point, but I don't think it slayed the dragon. I must say it was interesting how McCarthy evaded the question and how Tucker pursued her until she admitted that she didn't know the answer. But in the end, he will have forced her to do more homework and then only helped her in the long run. Obviously, barrel shrouds are not her main concern.

What the talking heads on that kind of show typically do is cut off a "guest", usually more foil than guest, who launches into "talking points" instead of answering a question. Of course, the challenge for a guest is to finish an answer.

Chris Matthews has an attention span of about 4 seconds before he interrupts or changes the subject, so his "guests" (foils) probably wonder why he even needed them for his speeches. It's hard for me to listen, but sometimes I don't bother to change the channel, actually listening from another room.

Disagree. In the age of internet content, he handed us a video clip to be circulated far and wide that makes it plainly obvious that the anti-gun crowd are horrendously ignorant.

Any time someone brings up renewing the ban on so-called "assault weapons" that clip needs to be re-played, linked to, and forwarded via email.

Is it a slam dunk tearing down of the entirety of HR1022?

    No.

Is it a Stooge-style eye poke that makes our opposition look foolish and incompetent?

    Oh man, is it ever.

I've never been a big fan of him. Back in his Crossfire days, he always struck me as being CNN's straw-man.

Given how he's conducted himself in the last couple of days, I've revised my opinion of him quite a bit. This stuff is just fantastic, and I'm utterly floored that he has the audacity to rub these people's noses in their own stupidity on live television like this.

Tucker has had no recent epiphany. He has been like this for a long time. He was underestimated and moved to late night. Then he was moved back, minus bow tie, and is the best segment on the MSNBC evening schedule.

Chris Matthews is terminally rude and self involved, and Keith Olbermann is a sports nerd pretending to be a political eagle. Tucker on the other hand is likeable and credible, and not just because he says things I enjoy hearing. He deals more in common sense and facts than political bias.

Mcmahon------is a typical fool. He knows absolutley NOTHING about firearms but wants them banned. He knows nothing about the 2nd amendment but has his brain so far up the DEMOCRAT kool aid machine he just speaks propaganda. He is a man who wants power to CONTROL others. I almost pity him.:(

This ain't fair at all, Tucker is conducting a battle of wits with unarmed combatants...

    I like it!

Tucker needs to repeatedly drill these other guys, they simply lack the ammunition to fire back at his barages...
