Tumbler Life Expectancy

I've two Lyman tumblers. The first was bought over 20 years ago and still going strong. A few years ago I added a second Lyman (gift card from Cabela's) and expect that one to last just as long, if not longer.

I have an old Midway 1215? Tumbler from waaay back when and it still alive and kicking.

This thread makes me want to get a second tumbler to go along with my Frankford Arsenal (FA) tumbler. I've had my FA for so long that I can't remember when I got it, but it's used for buckets of brass. A second tumbler would sure speed things up. Now, I just need to figure out which one to get.

Just found out Hornady has a 2 yr on tumbler motors from them and I had a M-2 some years back died after I nursed it back from the dead however can only give cpr so long and there it sat I contacted Hornady and they had changed vendors ..... so I asked to purchased a new motor and they said it wasn't the same. It wasn't but the mounts were and I just removed the old counterweight and fan cooler used a dremel to notch out where the counter weight should be and enlarged its hole to match the old volia... 15.00 later I have a 3rd tumbler.... first ''OLD CORNCOB'' removes the lube next . 2nd ''Good corncob'' brings to a nice luster.... 3rd '' Treated lymans nut'' is the finishing high gloss... I'm happy with the results.
