twist rate

    Location:
    the city that never sleeps (actually about an hour
    better twist rate for 22-250? 1:12 or 1:14...

    14 is pretty well standard, mine shoots accurately with 60 grain flatbase but that is about tops. A 12 twist would gain you a few grains weight or boattail length but not a whole lot.

    alright, sounds good, i wasn't planning on shooting anything over 55 grains. i guess i'll just stop worrying about the twist rate, thanks
