Monday I traded my CZ 527 Varmint Laminated for a new CZ 550 American in .308 Winchester. I had much more use for a new deer rifle then I did for a dedicated varmint rifle.

I turned right around on Thursday and shot the liberals a bird by buying a Smith & Wesson M&P 15. I am rather impressed with this rifle and it replaces the CZ 527 in a way.

    It's been a good week.

I too bought two "new to me" rifles. A .54cal CVA Mountain rifle and a Yugo M-48 Mauser 8mm. I love the way both of them shoot. I think the Mauser will replace my CETME and Stevens Model 200 .308 as my primary deer rifle. Although the CVA comes in a close 2nd. Pics will come soon.
