• Possible Downtime Alert

I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

More information is available in this thread.

As always, thanks so much for your patience.

Two Rabbit Hunting Questions: spoilage and rabbit still breathing.

I tried this method of gutting. Apparently this is how the American Indians used to do it.
Either my hands were not strong enough (probably) or my technique was off, but I
could not do it.
Looks like a dang good way to contaminate the meat with stomach/intestinal contents. I have used the knife-less grouse cleaning technique quite a bit tho.........

I hunt them above 32 degrees all the time. It’s usually 40-60 degrees when I’m quail hunting. I throw them in my vest pouch for a few hours and clean them back at the truck. They don’t spoil

1. Whack him with a stick or stomp his head.

2. When hunting squirrels or rabbits, I always a have a cooler with me and a jug of cold water. I skin and gut every animal I kill and cover them with the water; usually within a few minutes of shooting them. BTW, they skin easier if cleaned right away.
