I've got my .38 Special "Cowboy Action" loads down pat and am pleased with them. Now I've started tinkering a bit.
Someone sort of casually mentioned that if you go into +P territory on a .38 Special round you needed to get +P brass to handle it.
Is that accurate information?
Also, one of the old timer CAS guys says I really should use some sort of filler on my .38 "Cowboy" loads since there is so much empty case volume. He suggested corn meal or some cotton wadding.
Is there any particular reason I should use filler?
Thanks
