Two Sturdy Safes After Complete Burn Down

    Videos like this are quite interesting since we really have no test data on Sturdy's fire lining. I guess the same is true of all RSC's since there's no standard test for fire protection.

    Maybe we can doubt the effectiveness of Sturdy's fire lining but the Sturdy Safes did their job and protected the contents from fire in this case. Can we really ask for better?

    There are some unanswered questions. The fellow brings them up in the video. How hot was the fire? How long did the fire last? What else was in the garage that was flammable?

    Still, as I mentioned, the safes protected the contents with minimal damage. In this one instance it does seem that the safes work as designed.
