even on sale for less than $500 the plastic grips ruin it.
Folks complain that ROA prices are crazy, but looks like Uberti is giving them some competition to see who can get the highest.
But seriously, thanks for sharing!
I think they're polyurethane. Plastic like a Glock.
I feel the same way! Synthetic "ivory" AKA, white plastic, has never appealed to me either as a grip material.
Still looks like a nice deal though, I like the engraving.
I also found American Holly wood to be a decent looking substitute for the real thing (as seen on my Ruger Flattop Blackhawk).
As for polymer ivory grips, hey what can I say I just like the look of ivory colored grips, especially if the gun is blued; that and I can't afford the real thing!
While they aren't ivory, they are real natural materials (NOT plastic) and in my opinion look pretty nice.
Great price reduction, almost half price.
Interesting, in the ad in three different places, they refer to the grips as "ivory", never mention they're faux.

These are close.
I make that promise all the time but I'm weak.
You won't find any bolt on grips. Not even take offs.
Not even these!
Better buy them, definitely rare to come across.
Not even those. Unless they have changed in the last few years the Italians finish out the grips and the grip frames with the grips mounted so no two sets are exactly the same. If you get a set that actually fits without work consider yourself lucky. I've bought four sets of take off grips. Two for a Uberti 73 Colt and two for a Pietta Remington and none of them were close enough to make work.
Not a big deal.
Looks like real engraving to me...
not for that price. If that’s hand engraving, I could see prices in the $2500+
That image doesn't look like the laser engraving I've seen, but I'm sure it isn't hand engraved that's for sure.
