I just got my first UBG holster in and wanted to post pics and what I think of it. I think it's very high quality and a steal for the price of 50.00 plus shipping. I have my officers model in it in the pic, but it will mainly be for a commander or larger. It's cut for a commander and I asked him to leave the bottom open so I could also use it for a govt. model. The bottom is kind of curved so by my calculations it should pretty closely cover it also with the curve. I ordered the Striker 1 with clips, but there's a model with snap belt loops. He will also custom make them as he is doing with my next holster. I don't know him or am not associated with him, but I highly recommend giving his holsters a try. His motto:

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you're not happy with
your holster, I'll do whatever I must to make it right.

He's also a great guy to do business with (for an ex marine) and since I'm the first to yell when I am unhappy I figured I should do the same when I'm overjoyed.

I only saw a pic of the top of his head on another forum and it definitely looked bald. Don't know if he is ugly, but I'm no judge whether a guy is ugly or not.

Fella's;

Hmmmm, just found out that Stansbury Park only just north of Erda! And you know what that means.

But on the other hand, how close is it to the new roadrace track? I may have to come down & take delivery of something 'bout the next time the superbikes show up.

Ah, NOW things are clearer - you guys working together occaisionally? Outstanding! That's where he gets access to all the CZ molds!:)
Well done, sir.

UBG #3 +

Well I guess I am an official member of Nates fan club as UBG holster #3 arrived today.

This one is for my 1911 Commander and as always, it is PRIMO and fits like a dream.

Got a DW CBOB on order that will share it.

This package was extra special as it also contained an UBG BELT :)

Now ifnya think the holsters are worthy, then you will probably love the double thick stitched belt to match it. This thing is so solid I could probably hang and holster an M60 off of it, that is, if Nate can make the IWB holster for it ;)

Yeah, I know, TPIWWOP. I will work on it.

UBG+4

I have a UBG for my S&W CS40 auto. Nathan, the proprietor, communicated with me via e-mail several times back and forth to acquire the dimensions of this compact auto and determine whether or not he had the proper molding to make such a thing as he had not done so before. Turns out, the dimensions of the S&W autos are largely the same and he did. The holster is a clip on IWB (Striker I think) and his work is simply great.

He did not charge me until he started the fabrication. He called me two or three times to insure we were on the same page, and I had the holster a week later. Excellent work, great value. And the customer service was truly stellar. Nathan deserves a great reputation for he has earned it.

I dealt with HBE my experience was quite different. Do a search, see for yourself, I'm sticking to the high road and leaving it up to you to research it yourself. Go with UBG and you will have a experience indicating what professionalism is all about.

UBG Belt Holsters

I like the looks of the belt holsters, high ride & high quality. Unfortunately, 2 of my handguns weren't on the gun list. Ordered Haugen & Milt Sparks for them.

I received mine today.

Apparently I'd ordered on 30APR08. Still pretty quick.

I also seem to have ordered again on 29MAY08, because I am an absentminded idiot. :)

I ordered the Canute for my 24/7 Pro. There seems to have been a minor mixup, as I received a Striker 1 for same pistol.

No complaint here- it's a darn fine piece of work. Also, fortuitous- as I said, I dup'd my order, so I just requested that he make the second one a Canute, as already ordered, but make it in brown leather. As I am a new CCW'er (actually, not yet able to CCW as the state hasn't sent the license to me yet, but am carrying around my courtelage to get used to the discomfort and peculiarities of going armed) I figure the variety will do me good.

Only one observation for the odering system: when you place your order there's no requirement to put money on it or no actual interaction with the manufacturer. You get a form email back, which doesn't even acknowledge which particular product you ordered. This would be handy for those of us who are aware of how hit or miss email can be.

Certainly not a complaint, merely a suggestion: it might be nice to get a frm letter back that identifies which particular product, for which weapon, we ordered. Maybe even a small downpayment to be made with acknowledgement for product and weapon it's for.

Those are minor suggestions, though- I want to stress the product is high quality from what I see. I already have several holsters (beltslides, IWB, leather and kydex from different manufacturers)that I've accumulated in preparation for when I get my CWP documentation and can CCW. So far, this one's above all the others.

(EDIT for those who might not keep reading-- he made exactly what I ordered- I'm just absentminded. EXTREMELY pleased with the product. Perhaps being able to receive a carbon-copy of the order would help?)

Bought a UBG striker for my Kimber Ultra Carry II LG and have loved it! Very nice, comfortable holster that is very concealable. Quality construction and workmanship. I'll be a future customer as well as a past customer, that's the highest rating I can give anyone. Good stuff.

In all fairness to the vendor- he made exactly what I asked for.

Like I said, bad memory- I am an idiot. :)

I see a few more I would like as well. He'll be getting plenty of business from me.

well, one week of carry (though only 'round the house so far- still waiting for "permission" from the state to carry CW)-

Worn inside where it's cool. Outside where it's hot (100+ degree heat, workin' in the yard putting up a fence and sweating like a bull). Sitting, standing, stooping, reaching. Shorts, jeans, BDU pants, dress pants.

I could not be happier with this holster. Now I just have to figure out which will be my next piece of gunleather from him.

Looking for a holster for my Tanfoglio Witness, asked UBG first He informed me that he doesn't make one and isn't sure it'll work if he makes it for a CZ due to the trigger guard difference.

In discussion with him, I mentioned I might just try making my own if I can find a leather source. Not only did he offer me his vendor's name for his equipment, he offered to cut out a holster for me and send it to me with complete instructions on how to make my own. "Who knows, you just might become the next holster maker".

Said it before, I'll say it again-- HECK of a good guy. If he makes holsters for my needs in the future, he's got my business! In fact, I've been carrying my weapon in his design (Canute) as my EDC since receiving my CWP.
