it is almost 1:00 PM eastern time

crossballs will be on at 1, the show description says "Pistol Whipped America: Actors and unsuspecting guests discuss guns".

its too bad i have no way to record it to my computer. hopefully someone else can if it will really air.

See also my second post on page 14 of the "megathread".

They didn't just not run the episode on-air, they seem to have deliberately pulled the web-file specific to the episode "Pistol Whipped".

It appears they've backed down.

My lawyer will be calling them Tuesday to confirm.

Jim, I hope that if they don't run the episode, that you won't consider it just a "draw".

Making a-holes spin their wheels and spend money and time with no result is a victory, even if that wasn't your original intention.

Think of what they'd have been doing with that money and time if they hadn't been wasting it on you...I just hoped to keep you from getting discouraged with your activism.

Are you kidding? Viacom is one of the biggest companies in America. I made 'em back down.

Only thing is...I'm still out $200 :D.

I'm pondering small claims court :neener:.

I must be the only one after have watched several episodes of this show - of wondering how they edited it out... how it came out.

it was obvious to me on the various episodes i watched that you know who the "actors" are... and whats going on....

even if it wasn't obvious to the participants.

prolly putting too much hope in the general populace to think that any sane person watching the show (any of them) could figure out whats going on.

but i know its important to ya Jim... so good luck.

J/Tharg!

Take heart in the fact that you may have made them take an episode that cost a heck of a lot more than $200 to produce and toss it in the trash.

And yes, my ReplayTV has twice grabbed an episode of Crossballs that the schedule claimed was the "Pistol Whipped" episode and instead was the animal rights episode.

My hat's off to you sir. If I'm ever out SF way I'll have to look you up and buy you a beer/coffee/coke:D

I must advise you to decline that offer, Mr. March...

last time I mixed those three drinks I was sick for hours. :neener:

Seriously, though, it looks like things might be headed in the right direction. You certainly have acquired their attention. :)
