So hauling one's rubbish to the curb an hour early is considered a "major envirocrime?"

    Wow. Just.... wow.

If it's such a good idea, why then the secrecy?

Oh, and what is 'fly tipping?'

In further news today the DSB (Department of Sanitation Blissninnies), have installed microchips into toilet paper holders to insure the serfs do not use more than the allocated 3 squares of tissue paper while using the poopie-pot.

I sorta hate to say this, because I might, myself, be justifiably accused of using up oxygen and taking up space, but:

There really are more humans on the planet than there are useful things for them to do, so silly busybody things are invented for them to do.

That is, Trash Police. With Electronic IT Assistance.

    Thanks everyone for you help!

Since this is something like the fourth post I've made today and having been ignored completely, even with others posting almost verbatim what I had said up-thread, I'm giving it up for the day.

Aw, Sage, don't take it so hard! It's the Internet, after all!

(In other words, children can be _so_ cruel!)

Sorry, Sage. Like Orthonym said, it's the internet.
Lots of people in these forums don't pay the least amount of attention to what's been posted before. It's really amusing sometimes.

Anyway...try not to take it personally.

Did I read that right ??????

All the way through, I kept thinking that I was reading a comedy article.

Fly-dumping means the same thing in the U.S., Sage, but look at the article. They mentioned "fly-tipping" but the actual description of what they're trying to catch people doing is not fly-dumping.
