Ruger 10/22. Can be used for hunting game of all different sizes. It could also work in a defensive situation. I can carry probably 10x as much ammo as any other full sized caliber.

Glock 22. Will always run no matter how dirty(ask me how I know) and is great for a defensive type situation.

Ive been tihnking thiw over lately and when it comes to a full blown thing like this, I would like to bring

1.glock19
2.30-30 lever gun
3.12 gauge
4. Over/Under combo gun of .22 and .410 like a scout.


Realistically though, in a true survival situation i would probably only carry a handgun concealed (in urban settings) because I wouldnt trust people not to be like "Wow. lok at that dude with his tricked out evil black rifle" Then shoot me while im not looking and take it.

My cousin and I both have Glock 22s that we decided to stop cleaning just to see how long it would take them to fail. We both put over 1000 rounds through our pistols with out a failure of any kind. I went hunting during this time and wound up sliding down a muddy embankment on my pistol side. Mud got shoved in every little groove of this pistol and it still fired with out a single problem. I would definitely trust that pistol with my life. As a matter of fact I have owned that pistol for 3 years now and have put over 5000 rounds through it with out a single issue.

In my THR fantasy it would be my garand with a nice scope mounted to it somehow, but it real life it would be my .22 because I have lots of ammo
