Good morning all,
Just received this in the mail and could not be happier. It was purchased to give my 43 yr old Crosman SAA pellet revolver a rest. Colt\Umarex has a winner with this powerful new co2 revolver.
regards and pics:

Mornin',
I haven't shot it much due to some cockamamie moratorium on shooting it indoors. ;o) It's a smooth bore so I don't expect a lot past 15-20 feet even with the high fps. It will be a great plinker, better even than my Crosman I think. The weight and feel of the reproduction, even the clicks of the mechanism as it is cocked all bespeak Colt. It will make this a great practice revolver for the SAS folks if so chosen.
regards!

Keep us informed on how your new gun shoots. Is it very power full, how accurate is it and how loud is it. Could you shoot it in your back yard with out a problem with the noise. And how do You like your new gun now that You have had it a while and what is the quality level. Also where did You get it and how much did it cost. I had a Crossman S/A CO2 6 shot bb pistol in 1957 thru 1960 when I was young. And I just loved it, even had a fast draw holster for it but it was stolen. I have always wanted to replace but I never found, another one. This looks like a s/A Gun I would be very interested in. Thank You in Advance:

Some shooting results...

I went down to the theater today which is underground and is the quietest part of my home to test this out when I had a solitary hour. I fitted a new co2 cartridge and loaded six copperheads into the brass rounds. I have an old dartboard on the wall and attached the target to it. I walked across the room some twenty feet away and fired a cylinder's worth and reloaded and shot again. I think at the distance indicated that the flyers are my fault. When I concentrated, I got two in the bullseye and one round through the hole of another. The rounds fly so fast with new co2 that I cannot track them with my eye. That's something my old Crosman .177 pellet SAA could never do even when new. It is loud enough when fired that if you have nosy or cranky neighbors, they will be calling the Sheriff saying that a guy is out firing a gun in his backyard. *chuckles* I am very impressed by the quality and function of this Colt. ( Yes, that's one of the best parts, it is a Colt designed and manufactured in tandem with UMAREX ) The revolver is all metal except for the grips. Those are pretty sturdy ( as I learned today ) and different types will be available soon per UMAREX' website.
regards!

NOTE: The hex key for tightening the co2 cartridge into place in the grip frame is attached to the grip itself. Unlike other co2 guns, I did not hear the standard hissing noise as I punctured the cartridge and wound up cranking the handle around pretty hard. No problems at all resulted. I am very pleased with even the plastic and metal grip construction. This gun is definitely a keeper and will be highly desirable and scarce as time goes by. ( On sale for 119.99 at Pyramyd Airguns )

NEAT! How does this thing group? I'm in the market for a BB and/or pellet gun, but only if it's an accurate piece.

G'morning,
I saw your other thread, Cooldill and it sounds like you're well into your search for a super accurate air handgun. This revolver, like the elder Crosman .44 it is supplimenting are best used as tin can plinkers and paper and hanging target ringers at short distances. Great fun! Not super accurate.
regards!

I'm eagerly awaiting mine. Got a email fror the retailer saying they were expecting their shipment on the 26th and mine should be here within seven days. Got my fingers crossed.

I have the real deal, 45 Colt but I'm going to order one to shoot in the back yard
I had a Shooting Shell Mateil when I was a kid. I'm 72,and still a kid. Here is my
real deal.

Saw the Colt at pyramidair.com and immediately I'm thinking if anyone wants to know what to get me for Christmas, this is it!

Went out into the mountains for a day of shooting yesterday. Among all of the many types of firearms represented by our little group, the Colt Airgun put as many smiles on my friends' faces as did any of other 'real' weapons being used. It punctured plastic jugs easily and was accurate enough on our 10 yd boxes with stick on targets to gain approving nods from my gunsmith pal. The fit and finish lost nothing next to the Colt and Uberti SA Armys either. ;o) This Six-Shooter is Aces.
regards!

My blued version came in today, but it's my birthday "72". And my wife and
daughter won't let me open it until after dinner another 2 hours. I did get to
Shake the box tho. :banghead:

Feign low sugar and pretend to faint.
Might hurry dinner up some, so you can get to the important stuff.

Well I opened it and can a 72 old guy say WOW and jump up and down?
This is very pretty, action smooth as silk. Can't wait to shoot it. I also got
a box of 40 CO 2 and 1500 Marex Steel BB's to go with it. I'm set. Will report
the shooting test tomorrow,

Mine was supposed to be here this week. What I got was a e-mail saying their shipment has been delayed. Maybe I'll get it by the end of the month which will mean about 3 months since I placed the order. :banghead:
