I'm not much of a union man, but given various firm's unwillingness to allow their drivers to protect themselves, I'm all for whatever puts pressure on them!

From the article: "A lighted pizza sign on a car in a bad area says, "Look at me — I've got food, I've got cash and I'm unarmed", he said."

    Ugh.
    No.

Unions tend to be anti-liberty at any rate.

Just do what I did: carry anyway and don't tell anyone.

Unions can be good or they can be bad. There are a lot of cases where the union takes advantage of it's members for the benefit of the union.

If they unionize and they go on strike, it could get really interesting if union truck drivers refuse to deliver supplies to that store.

Otherwise, I doubt it's that hard to replace drivers.

Delivering Pizza can be dangerous, but you can make a decent amount of money doing it for a job that requires little training if tips are good.
