Folks, I wonder if I made a big mistake this evening. A friend was in Dallas, purchasing some ammo from an acquaintance which had been left a quantity of ammunition when a friend passed away, and wondered if I wanted some 7.62x25. I inquired about the origin of the ammo, as I have been told that some bulgarian ammo had blown up guns. The man from whom I purchased the ammo said there was no markings on the boxes, only TT88, He said they came in a big tin box, 210 rounds per box, and there was like 1260 rounds altogether. I went ahead and bought them for ~$.08 per round, but was wondering if anyone knew what kind of ammo this was and from where it was made? I haven't seen the head stamp, and won't be able to examine the ammo until tomorrow evening. Thanks so much in advance for your help!
