Starting to get the excited for the upcoming season. I picked up a new Beretta AL390 to pack the freezer with this year seeing as how I'm not in rifle country. With the way the trailcams are looking though, I might be decorating the walls too. :) Management is apparently starting to pay off.

A couple good looking buck there. I really have not been scouting like I should be. Just to dang hot right now. Its been upper 90's to low 100's here the last couple weeks. Can't even think about deer hunting at the moment. I have been shooting my bow alot getting ready just can't bring myself to tromp around the woods in this heat.

LOL If I could change anything about home, that rule would probably be it. Every county around me can use rifles, but for some reason we're still stuck with shotguns here. Really, it's ok though. I said earlier that I just got the AL390, but that's for when the dogs get running. Up until then, and even once firearms season starts and I'm stillhunting, I'm hoping to be using a brand new Savage ML-10II.
