This is a continuation of my last thread on my P22. So far it has been great (my first and last problem was with dirty mags at round count 90,000). But i think ive seeing the looming end of my ejector. I checked it recently to find that there is a big, jagged line going down the center of it. extractor looks ok

is this the end of it, is it going to need to be replaced soon? its been a bad week, the beretta's hammer is all screwed up now too (but i got a good life out of it, no malfunctions for a good 250,000 to 270). it just needs a new spring but the rifling is starting to disappear

its alot for the amount of time since i bought it, mid summer last year. I only put federal through the p22. same with the beretta, i choose the lighter stuff like WWB.

    150K rounds?

    10K+ rounds a month?

I'm not surprised that you will reach wear-out or failure to a part that is in friction contact. Even if it is only .22lr.

150k rounds, if you bought it in July or something last summer that's 18,750 rounds a month, roughly 4,700 rounds a week or about 670 rounds a day! Not to call you a fibber but how is that even possible? :uhoh:

Then again it is a .22, but still!

Quick math and math is not my specialty, but that would seem to be like $2500 in .22's? This is assuming the 550rnd bulk packs at $9.
